Nice little cafe with good coffee and particularly good quiche selection. Warning, they have no toilet, but there are public toilets across the road down Mary St. And as a real bonus they adjoin the amazing Carsons Bookshop with a handy walk through.Food: 5/5
Great Cafe in centre of town. Cabinet food not only looks good, but tastes good and is made fresh each day. Coffee is superb. Awesomely kind stuff that make you want to return.

I have to say that the food in the cabinet looked very appealing with a wide selection. The sausage roll with fennel appealed as I am very fond of fennel. Unfortunately the sausage roll was disappointing, the sausage being dry and lacked seasoning. Pork needs a good amount of pork fat, and can take a generous amount of pepper to make a juicy sausage. Pastry does not like being microwaved and ends up as a soggy mess, an investment in a quality pie warmer would be a good investment. Coffee was good. Charles Boyle Thames

This Cafe is always worth visiting. I don't think there is a better, fresher cabinet selection of food in Thames. Coffee is consistently good, service is quick, food and coffee arrive at the same time. The quality of food, coffee and service has not diminished over the couple of years? that Hi Stranger has been open.
I had intended on going to a different cafe, but since that one was closed, I happened to come across this one. So glad I did as my smoothie and salmon bagel were both so so delicious, lovely staff and great atmosphere :D
