We stumbled upon this gem yesterday.nHey Coastie has a lovely relaxed atmosphere atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options.nThe menu is on the small side but caters for the main dietary needs, including those items featured on the specials board.nThe food was presented in an elegant appealing manner. My zucchini salad was very tasty due to the fresh ingredients and delicious dressing.nThe well appointed, very clean bathroom deserves a mention. There was even a baby change table.nThis is a delightful cafe that can provide a wonderful setting for all. Anyone from families with young children to the elderly could have a delicious meal here.nHighly recommend.
Awesome little place in Waikanae. Looks like it could be great for dinner. Got the caesar salad which was yummy. A bit decadent for a salad I thought though, hehe. And their fries were absolutely to die for! I'll be returning just for those if I'm honest. Customer service was lovely, well presented staff who seem to enjoy their jobs, or at least show it with customers around. I'll be back.
We went there for a quick dinner before a film. The menu offered at least three items that really appealed. I had the flat bread and my wife the slow cooked lamb, each delicious. My wife couldn't finish hers and asked for a doggy bag: she was given not only the remainder from her plate but enough extra to make it another complete meal. We loved our experience and will go there again.
Such a lovely spot that you might not have known about! Worth the drive out the coast if you're coming from Welly central! Friendly and helpful staff, incredible food and cocktail selection. The outdoor area really makes the whole vibe so cool! Will be bringing all my friends to try it!
Great new spot! Fabulous refurbishment! Friendly staff and yum food.nThey are still finding their feet so slow on food and drinks but nice place to sit and wait regardless. I hope they succeed!
