Perfect for cyclists and walkers. Several access options, Te Ore Ore Rd, Dixon Street or Colombo Road, they all connect on the circuit.
Very nice Lake park with also many good birds, ducks and geese to view.
Nice place for campers to have a stop over. Bring your own food. A lots if black swans on the lake
Toilets available, close early so unfortunate for freedom. Campers. Is a shower too, with warm water. Have drinking water fountain. Rubbish bins available. Nice walks , bike ride or for those who kayak, great place. Near the road but overall we stayed one night. No issues.
Would stay again. A lot of bird life. Some people seem to be living there. But all good. Showers in toilets. Good bike and waking track around the lake. Town just down the road
