Really nice area for walks or picnics. There is a fairly large parking area and there are toilets nearby. This is a great place to see birds including black swans, geese and ducks. There is an observation tower for birdwatching.
Great place to go for a walk.nWhen with a group of other mums. Is pram friendly :nParking is adequate.nWould be nice if there was maybe a medium sized playground for kids to play on.nAnd there was less duck poo on the path from what I remember when going for walks around when attending Lakeview school over 15 years ago
Toilets available, close early so unfortunate for freedom. Campers. Is a shower too, with warm water. Have drinking water fountain. Rubbish bins available. Nice walks , bike ride or for those who kayak, great place. Near the road but overall we stayed one night. No issues.
Great lake for a picnic on a sunny day. Lovely walk around the lake too.
Perfect for cyclists and walkers. Several access options, Te Ore Ore Rd, Dixon Street or Colombo Road, they all connect on the circuit.
