Toilets available, close early so unfortunate for freedom. Campers. Is a shower too, with warm water. Have drinking water fountain. Rubbish bins available. Nice walks , bike ride or for those who kayak, great place. Near the road but overall we stayed one night. No issues.
This recreation area could be nice if there wasn’t so much goose and duck poo everywhere. There is so much of it that you can’t avoid stepping in it. It’s absolutely disgusting. I cannot believe they allow paddling here especially with warning signs of toxic algae around the water. The filth of this lake and park needs to be addressed by the local council.
Great for freedom camping if you need. Clean toilet and shower block as well. Come down and visit with the family for a great place to picnic, feed the ducks and yourselves too.
A lovely freedom camping spot suitable for dogs on leads only plus excellent walking track around the lake. It was fabulous to see all the swans white as well as black, ducks and geese.
Awesome place to walk around, lots of trails, peaceful and well maintained. Family friendly and easy to get around in as little or as long as you'd like to make it. Picnic areas and play areas spaced out around too.
