Stopped in at Hendrix Waikanae and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The coffee was spot on, and the ham, cheese and bacon toasty with the tomato chutney was so good. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and the chutney was the perfect finishing touch.nnFriendly service, great vibe, and awesome food and coffee. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Waikanae. Highly recommend!
I love Hendrix! The coffee, the beautiful team and of course the scones. Light and fluffy, absolutely delicious. Hendrix has become our daily, very happy.
Went to the cafe for the first time today and we were very impressed. Coffee was good, raspberry muffin was delicious and was still warm from the oven. This cafe will now be our ‘go to’.
Boutique Homeware store that has a small cafe space added as an after thought with Allpress espresso coffee and a small cabinet of savoury and sweet items.nnConsensus from our group was that the coffee was good. Food choice was mundane and looked like it was at the end of its shelf life. It looked like grandma has made the scones and muffins, and grandma is not a good scone maker. Hard to compete with olde beach cafe around the corner. Some outdoor seating on the footpath but the road is busy. We tried it out because the queue was out the door at olde beach
This place has found it's feet as a buzzy local cafe, with delicious food and drink options and plenty of seating. Love their soy matchas, and the berry friand is one of the best I've ever had.
