Hendersons is a great fishing store pretty much stock all you could want for a awesome fishing trip with the Girls lol Excellent choices in products. Staff are Friendly an Courteous only too happy to help an answer any questions that you may have. I highly recommend this store too anyone who enjoys fishing or just the great outdoors really I'm sure that there is something for everyone here. I must say I do have my eyes on a gorgeous Kayak thats just arrived
Always super helpful and friendly staff. Not sure what the dude with the 1 star below is on about. Seems abit suspicious to me. Been buying stuff at Henderson's for a couple of years or so and never walk away disappointed. Keep up the great work!
If you know exactly what you want, how much it should cost and it coincides with their limited range of stock this place can be handy. Otherwise expect to be ripped off. Treat any advice they give with suspicion. Most of the time they won't have what you need , but they'll try to fob you off with whatever plausibly relevant item has the highest profit margin. Ignore any quote they give on ordered-in items. The price will always be higher when it arrives. Always ask for a receipt. They never offer them, but you'll need it when you have to enforce your consumer rights.

Hendersons provides good old fashion service, amazing knowledgeable staff who you can tell genuinely care about their products and care about providing the customer with what they want/need. Easy 5 stars and totally recommend Hendersons for all your fishing, boating, diving needs
Great location with a great range of quality fishing gear at reasonable prices. Great too one can buy gift vouchers here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will be going back there again.
I’m currently doing a road trip around NZ for my honeymoon, so I have limited gear compared to a usual fishing trip for me. Just have a light spin rod, no fly gear. These were the first and only shop so far that actually seemed interested and gave me some good advice, all of which has been spot on. They had a good range of plastics and lures and didn’t just point me towards a rack of Toby’s, spinners and Tasmanian devils.
The place to go for fishing and boating. Staff really know their stuff. Plus it is good to support local businesses.
I love the selection and service here. They have the best collection of freshwater gear which is hard to find anywhere else in town.
