Missing main ingredients for 2 of the 3 pizzas we ordered.nnBrimstone - missing avocadonCustom - missing main protein and way too much BBQ sauce.nnAnnoying as we do enjoy Hell's Pizza usually!
Over multiple orders, every time a thin stretched pizza is ordered, toppings end up on the lid see photo for latest example. As a company who place themselves as a premium product, why do the likes of Dominos and Pizza Hut not have this issue? Well, they simply place a paper ketchup cup in the centre of the pizza, ensuring they don’t have this issue for the sake of a few cents.nnWith their prices increasing, and the quality slowly but surely dwindling, I’ve made my last order from Hell. As a customer since the late 90s, it’s been emotional.
Ordered my fave I forget the name it's the one with the beernaise swirl and some corn nuggets.nnThe guy on was pretty himself the entire time.nnPizza was good, infact one of the better hell pizzas I've had, was cut properly and toppings spread out evenly.nnHOWEVER, the guy went nuts with the pepper omg my mouth was on fire by the end of it. Please be gentle on the pepper in future! I've never had a beernaise pizza that caused my mouth to spontaneously combust! And I order usually once a month.
The support for correcting mistakes at this store is terrible:nnMy recent pick up order included 1/2 KG of chicken wings. When I collected the order I was only given 1/4 KG and when I questioned it the store manager admitted the mistake and offered to cook the other 1/4 a 15 min wait or refund the full $17.nnFair enough, mistakes happen - it's what happened next that has left a bad taste in my mouth.nnI opted for the refund but upon checking my bank a week later I noted that it hadn't cleared. I emailed Hell Pizza, then the store called me the next day - missed call and didn't leave a message. I called them back and found out it was the store - the person on the phone insisted 3 times that the refund had already been placed as if to give me the impression that I just needed to wait longer, finally I was able to get them to admit that they had only organised the refund after received my email complaint.nnI shouldn't have had to follow up on the refund, especially after the initial mistake with my order and I have the impression that the store manager never intended to action the refund in the first place.
This is really my favourite pizza place out of all the one's I've tried in Wellington! I find myself ordering there a lot, more than I probably should. The staff are super friendly and will always go the extra mile to make it a good experience.nnIf you looking for a flavourful pizza with a great balance of sauce, this is the place to go.
