Welcome to Helensville Library, the little library that could.

Part of Auckland Libraries, we offer access to millions of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs...

We have free internet access and free wi-fi.

Kids' Time is on Thursdays, 10.30am-11am. Aimed at under 6s and their adults, but all ages are welcome - Kids' Time is all about songs, rhymes and stories, tailored to that session's audience.
NB: KIDS' TIME IS TAKING A BREAK and will return in February 2020.

Not to mention a fabulous friendly and helpful staff.

Outstanding customer service as Always. Can't thank the staff enough for their help
My first time visiting Helensville Library while waiting to pick up teenagers from Parakai Springs. Rachel was welcoming, friendly and most helpful. Rachel guided me to install the Libby and Auckland Library apps on my mobile and then I borrowed an ebook, that I can read on my device/mobile. She also placed a book request on hold for me and when it becomes available, I receive notification to collect it from my local library. I had no idea these apps were available, so I'm thrilled at the convenience of borrowing books, ebooks and returning them. Great service
In my personal experience I found this place lovely and clean, well organised, the staff is kind and helpful.

Great library also a great book fair that happens yearly I believe also really nice staff. 10/10 if you live in Helensville.
