A great little place to break your trip to the lower South Island. The owners Pauline and James have grown up in Balclutha and can provide excellent local knowledge. I found the rooms clean,quiet and and perfect for what we needed on this trip.
lovely & helpful owners let me use their own bathroom when we stopped during a long drive. They also suggested some good walks and landmarks for us to visit, gave us a map, a leaflet & a nice conversation. Even though we didn’t stay over, I’m grateful for their hospitality & friendliness :nThanks!
Lovely friendly southern style service, budget friendly too. Clean with little extra touches, much appreciated. We were comfortable and warm, it was perfect for what we wanted. We were made aware of where things were in the town, and made to feel very welcome.
