I had an absolutely amazing stay at La Cottage at Hedges Estate in Waiuku. The location is breathtaking, situated in a beautiful part of Auckland surrounded by picturesque countryside. The house itself is fantastic, with plenty of space and all the amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. But what really made this trip special was the country retreat aspect of the property. There are horses on the property which was such a treat to see, and the aviaries were a delight to walk through. It was such a peaceful and tranquil setting, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway. Overall, I highly recommend La Cottage at Hedges Estate for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing retreat in a beautiful part of Auckland. The house and the surrounding property are absolutely stunning and I can't wait to come back and stay again in the future.

This is an awesome place to stay. Why would anyone go to a motel when you can stay in a place like this. Fleur and Grant are awesome hosts.

Lovely venue, defintely worth a visit if you are looking for a non winery wedding / celebration venue near Auckland. Beautiful, tranquil, lovely gardens and views of surrounding countryside.

Lovely setting for a wedding. Handy to have the ceremony and reception at the same place.
