We have been visiting the Heaphy Cellar Door & Café a number of times during our summer holidays in the region. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service was just fantastic. The outdoor area invites to enjoy the fresh and consistently tasty food that is cooked and prepared from scratch. The whipped goat's cheese with seedy crackers is a must. The zucchini fritters and wood fired pizza a delight. What better than to pair the food with some of the lovely Heaphy wines. Montepulciano and Pinot Rose - just what the doctor ordered! We can't wait to be back!
This place is amazing. Real genuine Italian style pizza. World class with a great menu and some of the best wines in the region! This is a must visit and the outdoor area is stunning. Tom and Erin will look after you.
We had lunch here and it was just a wonderfully relaxing and fun experience. The food and wine were amazing, but the highlight was our host Jules - fun, attentive and a total joy. A wonderful experience! We stopped by Heaphy Vineyard after a long day in the district. We had an excellent wine tasting coupled with yummy olives and herbed bread. Our senses were delighted!
