was an ok school with a few teachers who cared to help out students had a lot of fun.

The only high school in town. Therefore works hard to provide a broad curriculum giving students as much choice as possible in the subjects available. Good hard working teachers.

There is a masive toxic culture at this school to allow bullying and act dumb when the taranaki daily news exposes them the cameras in the toilets are true the teachers dont care and students are just nasty to deal with Id avoid this place

Hawera high has got to be one of the worst high schools in the taranaki region fights cameras in the toilets and a sense of entilement make this place a travesty

To everyone saying this is a bad school it is not, ever school has fights and the cameras are not pointed towards the toilets they are pointed at the door of the bathroom simply bc the students kept damaging it

The school looks like a prison with the tall gates and barbed wire, the classrooms are very old, the teachers are very friendly but aren't that great at teaching.
