I cannot say enough good things about this business. I recently completed the Hauraki Rail Trail and Wayne was so accommodating. He met every single one of our needs and was extremely helpful in making sure we got to our various destinations. Our safety and comfort seemed to be his priority. He's is honest, dependable and provided us with some valuable info before we hit the trail. I highly recommend using this company particularly since it is locally based. Thank you Wayne for all you did for us.
We hired two bikes for two days a total of $400, the first bike broke down on the first day the rear spool collapsed, we were stuck on the trail, I had to tow my husband and his bike for over 6kms, they met us at the Train station to drop off another bike, the next day my chain came off my bike just after we got out of the tunnel, and the replacement bike's light didn't work and the rear brake was very soft, it made out time pretty miserable and we had lost confidence in the bikes, it was really disappointed when we returned the bikes early the next day, we weren't offered any sort of partial refund in good faith but we did get a sorry. Mike was more interested in making the money rather than making the customers experience pleasant, he actually had no idea what caused my chain to come off, there was a clicking noise then the bike slowed then it fell off. So my advice is unless you have some knowledge of how to fix a bike, hire one from people who fully maintain their bikes.
Very welcoming people who looked after all our needs. Provided us very useful information and reliable bikes. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
