Lovely staff who always greet you with a smile! Was able to grab a lot of wool for a cheap price and the needles only cost me $1. Really like going here as prices are decent for an op shop and you know you're money is going to something that truly will make an impact. Prices are fair at this store and aren't inflated. Items in store rotate quickly so when you see something you like grab it quickly because chances are, it won't be there the next time you go in.
It's way over priced now. Noticed they're pricing cards you can get for $1.00 at warehouse for $1.50.furniture way overpriced. Charity has turned into opposite. Not impressed. Staff are over pricing and people can't afford normal prices. Whats happened! If I get an ambulance I have to pay. So wheres the money going?
A lot of glass ware and some furniture. Great variety. Great service!
A great place to shop for pretty much anything.nI had the handle break on my favorite butter knife. Went in and they had one on the shelf for only a few bucks. Love it
What is going on here? St John's, you are proud of your name and the staff and manager of this shop are shaming you in a massive way, I picked a backpack up to buy today, the price clearly said $10 on this second hand backpack, I got to the counter with it and all the other items I wanted to buy, the lady that served me had a melt down and started yelling this is $30 I said no it has a $10 price tag on it, she rung a bell and run out the back with it, then another lady came out and said she just put it out and it should be $30, i said no i would pay $30 for a new bag but not a second hand one, so they called the manager out, Heather, how do you have a job??? I have met some rude people in my life, but you take the cake, she told me she seen a man hanging around the bag and he must of changed the price, that was tied on with string, that I had on my back when I walked in and decided to buy it I carried it around the shop on my back. I didn't see a man anywhere either did my friend, the customers waiting behind us to be served said it's not on they cant do this, but they did,the same thing happened to my friend I took to this shop 3 weeks ago, with a toy, same lady serving same deal, price that was on it she changed when we went to pay. I have contacted Auckland and I will take it further. You are given these items, for free to raise money for st Johns, but something dodgy is going on here.
