Great quiet place for research and amazing events happen outside at times for all the whānau to enjoy.
Hastings has everything anyone could want in a library. First, they have a great selection of books. They are missing an array of older, still relevant books, but it's easy to find something newer and still worthwhile. They are also a center for the community with computers and activities. In fact, you can rent the place out after hours for nerf fun fights. How cool is that? If you get shot, you can just pick up a random book to read.
a late night Thurs open hours is good idea! ill remember that. great for study and facilities. should have a little coffee shop. think that's good idea, time to move into the new era, people love a good book, a nice coffee , and a smoke kidding

A very good library and I'm a regular! I love the new mural which says a lot about Hastings.
Great place, friendly service.wide variety of reading material. It is frustrating when they don't have the whole series especially the beginning ones. Wish loan times were shortened so you didn't have to wait so long. Some people take 8 weeks. The online book issuing times are way better.
