Just bought a tablet only to find I can't charge it because I also need an adapter to convert its C end to a USB end. But they don't tell you that when you buy it. It's the second time I've bought electronics from Harvey Norman only to find it wasn't what was advertised. Bought a laptop advertised as having an SD card slot. There was a slot - but there was nothing behind it. Not even their techs knew why they were sent without SD card readers to the NZ market.
Absolutely terrible customer service, I stood in there technology department for 20 minutes and nobody seem interested in helping me so I asked a group of workers that were standing and talking and they said they would be over to help me in a few minutes. 5 minutes pass and none of them had come to help me. This needs to be fixed!
Went to the mount Maunganui store earlier today after purchasing a digital camera 2 days ago after not being happy with the quality and zero usage. I came into store and was denied a refund, exchange or store credit because apparently it wasent “ faulty”. Seriously unimpressed with this service and sales person. Will not be shopping at this location again.
Stewart’s politeness and efficiency in the TV department definitely make him very outstanding. We will come back to him if we need another one in the future.
