Very helpful knowledgeable salesperson who didn't push us into any particular product and that helped us enormously when choosing the right product for us. My wife appreciated the patience of the sales guy and felt happy we had shopped at the right place.

Had an excellent customer service experience at Harvey Norman on Tory St. Dealt with a sales person named Steph. She was very helpful and efficient. I can highly recommend her!
Lady at the front desk has zero customer service. I asked her about airpod cases and she said “sorry we don’t sell them separately from the airpods”. What stupid answer is this ? Then i asked its the protective cases Im talking about and she said, “oh I don’t know ask one of the guys at the back”. She doesn’t greet or bothered to help customers. She’s gives a bad reputation to the store.
My last purchase was a 3D Blu-ray player. I asked the guy about purchasing a 4K HDMI cable and he said there was one in the box. When I went to set it up a few days later there wasn't an HDMI cable in the box. Plans of watching Avatar in 3D that night were scrapped I brought the cable from PB Tech the next day for way less than Harvey Norman sell them.
Previously would have rated a 3 or 4 star but customer service had deteriorated a lot recently. Emailed Customer Care about price promise, wrote back once. We were happy with the answer and wrote back but heard nothing. Sent another follow-up email, still nothing. Sent another follow-up, not hopeful that there will be any customer care at all. I would understand if they were all busy but most of them just stood there looking around the store or just talking to each other. We just walked out of the store and on our way outside, a couple approached us and talked about how appalling the customer service was there because they were ignored as well. Ended up going to another store and purchasing the item we needed.
Tom was amazing. Great knowledge about wall ovens, induction tops, dishwashers, Microwaves, waste disposal units, and extraction units. And all with no pressure and great advice.
I won’t use Harvey Norman Tory Street again and I recommend that you don’t either. The great electrical retailer in Wellington, Mr L V Martin, once said “it’s putting right that counts”. How true, but not at Harvey Norman Tory Street. We purchased a Samsung Frame TV a few weeks ago and during the install a not unreasonable amount of pressure on the TV aerial connection caused it to snap off. Refer image 1. You can see that the aerial connection itself shows no sign of any damage. Refer image 2.  We consider that either the TV aerial connection and or the metal it is made of is flawed and not fit for purpose. The Tory Street franchise owner said he would not replace the set and referred it to a TV repair firm who indicated to us that they had seen this issue several times before but that Samsung claim this is not a warrantable issue! We are getting the TV repaired at our cost and we will have been without a TV for 3 weeks while Harvey Norman Tory Street are sitting pretty with another very profitable sale – but I am without a TV and a very upset customer. This is not good service! Hence 1 star and no more custom from us, there is plenty of competition in this field, Noel Leeming is very nearby ! Final note – I noticed that the box had been opened before us and that the TV had finger marks all over it – very uncool Harvey Norman Tory Street!
Bought a TV in the morning, set it up at home and it was faulty, took it back to HN and they tested it immediately and found it faulty too. They gave me an immediate replacement, loaded it into my car for me. Young man Noah was a tremendous help in sorting the problem, will go back there again with confidence.
A great store with good customer parking. Great prices. Very friemdly, helpful and knowledgable staff
