Story

Weblinks http://www.paihia.co.nz/HaruruFalls.cfm http://www.waterfalls.co.nz/waterfalls-by-region/117-new-zealand-waterfalls/north-island/northland/haruru-falls

Beautiful view and the sounds of the waterfall is just so calming. It's a small little scenic area but manageable. Didn't take the walking trail.
This place is gorgeous! Just sitting on the rocks in the warm sun, watching how amazing a waterfall can look. We got too see people kayaking & swimming just below in clear waters. A great place to relax & chat.
Small waterfall but nice. A good walking track to/from the Waitangi treaty grounds.
Dozens of wild chickens including a hen with seven chicks. Waterfall looked good too. Not at full flow but still a good roar.
Nice fall, beautiful place but Rainbows fall which is 5 min drive next to it is better!
Nice peaceful area to take photos and to relax. Love the wild animals that you can find here. I saw a bunny and lots of roosters.
Nice short walk to the Hurlburt falls. Has been a bit dry so they were a bit small and noticed the river is very low. Good for a quick visit
Would recommend starting at Waitangi because the track from Haruru to Waitangi is unclear and less exciting. The track is great and relatively easy to walk. However the lack of information about this track made us feel lost and did not know where the track ended. There should be more signs and information about this trail.
