After driving past this place a few times and seeing a lot of food reviews especially from the one and only Mark Weins I knew I had to pop in and try for myself . I visited this place with my partner and we ordered two dishes one being Adobo del Diablo and the other being Lechon kiwali x bicol express . Both these dishes were delicious. Packed with fresh flavours and spices . If you are in Auckland and looking for some delicious authentic Filipino food this is the place to go !! Also if you are a fan of Ube don’t forget to get your hands on their creamy rich Ube icecream .

We knew we had to have the Hapunan food truck at our wedding the moment I first tried their food 4 years ago. They were absolutely AMAZING! nnLaura and the team are super friendly, welcoming, and provided perfect communication leading up to our big day. The food was delicious, bursting with flavour, and the portions were great + the food truck looks super cute!!nnWe had the Adobo Rice Bowl, Pata Tim Bao, Lumpia spring-roll, and Prawn Siomai dumpling....every single bite was 10/10! My partner and I ordered lechon bicol express, inasal and lumpia. I could see why their food is a bit pricey. These are not just basic Filipino food. So if you are after a fresh pinoy food with a kick, this is the place. I hope they do have more branches all over Auckland. Highly recommend!
