Lovely Place, really recommended after a long day. Multiple pools welcome you different experiences and all of them are great. 4 Slides slides for children and adults and it is even possible to book your own private pool for a small charge of 10$ per person. Workers were all really friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit:
Love Hanmer Springs. Lovely place for Kids and the outdoor enthusiast. Decent amount to do and relaxing. Lots of accommodation and activities. The Pools are great. Food quite pricey but delicious. I go regularly as a shirt hour and a half drive from CHCH.

Definitely worth buying a 2 day pass. We spent 2 full days enjoying the place. So much fun. If you like hydroslide I recommend going later in the arvo as the lines go faster if there are any. Went there at 1pm during mid May and the pool was so comfortable to be in with the cold weather. Remember to bring towel as they charge extra for towels. There’s also swimming pool and slides for you to play without any queues!!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Excellent new water slides, a lot tamer than I thought they'd be ... soooo busy, there were no lockers available . We had a same day return pass , spent most of the day there, had 2 hours off for a relax and went back for the last 2 hours when it was 80% quieter.Visited onWeekend
Love the water park, lazy river, and rotating between the 42° adults only pool and cold waterfall. Wish there was a cold plunge pool, but I really can't complain, especially at this price! The scenery was stunning and really added to the atmosphere as well!
Hanmer Springs is a great day out! We were a family group including grandparents, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The price was reasonable, and we got our tickets when we got there, but you can prepurchase them. You could take your own food for a picnic or enjoy the food at their cafe. Overall, it was a very good experience for all ages!
Love the slides and hot pool with natural thermal water We booked a full day experience with locker for 110nzd. You can choose the package of 2 nights stay with unlimited access to hot pool for 429 something.
