The staff here were incredibly helpful! We arrived after hiking the Te Araroa TA only to find that an event in Hanmer Springs had everything in town fully booked. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we had a place to stay.n​While the room was basic, it was tidy and clean, as were the amenities. It was exactly what we needed, but it was really the staff’s exceptional service that made this such a great overnight stay. Highly recommended for any hikers passing through!
Very conveniently located near the pools walkable distance. The rooms were very clean. We stayed in triple suit which had a basic kitchen and utensils. Room came with a TV, the shower had hot water and towels were provided. Only very small downside was the people staying over our room were noisy and were walking throughout the night . Otherwise it was a great value room for a couple and our toddler. Highly recommend staying here when visiting hanmer springs. This is our second time staying here.
I had a relaxing two night stay. Great location, and nice a quiet. Also everything was very clean. I was really impressed by the kitchen facilities, which were fantastic!
This lodge was one of the best backpackers I'd ever stayed in. Full kitchen facilities, spacious rooms and amazingly clean. The staff were just as wonderful and friendly. Thank you so much for the stay and accomodating our requests.
This hostel is really cozy and I can only recommend staying here. First we booked only to nights but extended to four because it was so calm and clean. The staff is really nice and helpful. Overall a great experience and I would always come back. Thank you so much!
