An easy, flat walk enhanced by sculptures and the gentle rustling of tall, swaying trees. Perfect for a romantic stroll, with trails wide enough for couples to walk hand in hand.
This area features several walks and biking tracks of different length/ duration. Some walks are exclusively for walking, i.e. no cyclists.nnThe shortest and easiest is called the Forest Amble. Listed as a 30 minute walk, it can take up to an hour as you will stop to admire the wooden sculptures on the way. This is not a walk to be rushed through.nnThere is plenty of parking on Jellies Pass Road. The parking bay can be reached in a few minutes’ drive from Hanmer Town Centre.
So many beautiful wood statues on the Hanmer Springs Forest Walk.
Fantastic walk, recommend going about 9am and finish before the 10oc hotel motel people move along. .nNice and quiet and peaceful then.nWe left at ten am and people were pouring into the walk and carpark . So word to the wise.
Beautiful place to walk and get some fresh air. Options for walking and biking. Sculpture circle also fun!
