Lovely smile from the waitress. Modern cafe, great outdoor seating. Very popular on Saturday morning. Attracts a lot 30-50 year old. Coffee v good, 4.50r/5.50 l good price.nnCould do with help yourself water
Seriously, the best espresso I've had since returning to NZ on holiday. Great chocolate cake too. Friendly service and a great start to the morning!
I was feeling like having something sweet so went for the Swiss roll. It was surprisingly big and delicious. The sponge was extremely light and fluffy, carrying the cream and jam really well. $6.50 was good value for money too. Overall it was a very satisfying treat. The only downside is that their seating areas are not clean or tidy due to them being very busy.
I had a scone which was delishous. The service was awkward but ok. The bakery is very small. They do have outside seating but it was a bit cold to sit outside. It would be awesome on a nice hot day.

We were pleasantly surprised by the array of options available so early—an enchanting mix of tradition and creativity.nnThe philly chesse steak pie was a delightful dance of flavours, perfectly complemented by a large mocha that seemed crafted for the chilly morning air. Though my taste buds wished for a touch more boldness from the coffee even with a double shot, perhaps the regular size is the sweet spot.nnTheir sweet treats were a feast for the eyes and promised to satisfy any sugar craving. What truly impressed us was the knowledge that these delectable pies are handcrafted on-site, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the experience.
