We were a bit surprised by the negative reviews because we would actually rate this as the best campground we've been at during our 3 week trip. The facilities* were always clean and well looked after, there was no timer for the showers and park management was very nice and responsive. The only thing that wasn't good was the Wi-Fi which was slow and unstable even though we were directly across the facilities and fairly close to the reception. But we've had worse at other sites. We would happy stay here again!nn*We were at the smaller facilities building site 63, not the main one, so we can't rate the other ones.
Stayed in the Tiny home. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was awesome. Crisp clean bedding, comfortable bed and split system AC. We were in unit one the only thing to be aware of here is that everyone can look into the living area if you don't have the blind down. Didn't really bother me. Other units are a little more private. Nice big deck at the front. The only downside is the park could do with more showers and toilets otherwise the place is clean and tidy and right in town.
Spent a week camping here and had a great time. So close to the lake and anything else you may need in the township.nThe camp grounds are kept impeccably clean, tidy and weed free.nThe tent sites are generous and well maintained.nThe bathrooms are modern, very clean and spacious.nGreat kitchen enough for everyone to do their dinners at once, they also have an instant hot water reem which came in very handy.nMy only gripe was none of the toasters worked, and quite a few of the gas hobs just wouldn't ignite no matter how hard you tried. Other than that it was always clean and tidy.nBBQs are only $1 to use and work great.nWe loved our stay and didn't want to leave.nWe will certainly be back again.
The staff are very helpful and the camp site is well sheltered from the wind however the ground is quite tough to pitch on.nThe kitchen has no utensils and limited pots/pans, but is a good size and is kept clean.nThe showers are lovely and warm with no timers.nBooking online is a pain if you're tent camping as it still requests a Campervan size even though you're tent camping. Just put any size.
We stayed for 3 days and would certainly return. The location is great being near the lake and the town Center so only a 12 minute walk to lots of restaurants.nWe didn’t use the facilities but there is a large kitchen , tv room, play area and launderette. The showers were clean and sufficiently spacious. The only negative was there were no hairdryers in the shower blocks
