Great company to use - guys were super careful with furniture and communicated extremely well when moving and placing our items.  Company also easy to deal with and was no problem changing our move to a day earlier than originally agreed.  Will definitely use again and recommend for any move as competitively priced also.  Thanks team for a great job. Moved from Waikato to Canterbury. Can't recommend highly enough. Very impressed. Great communication, on time, friendly movers, fast, efficient, careful. Everything arrived without a mark, nothing broken. Competitive rates. Would absolutely use again.
Honestly these guys are the worst. Take no responsibility or care for moving entire house as quoted and paid for. They missed a large cabinet, small shelving unit and the 4 car loads of small items I had to move myself. When I asked when they were going to bring the remaining items over they offered to quote me for it. The movers were pleasant enough however not much care was taken and minor damage occurred to drawers and cabinets. Really interesting reading other reviews and can relate to any damage to items being blamed on the customer due to poor packing, totally unprofessional and no care given. Seriously go elsewhere they are not worth the headache!Service: Interstate moving
Broken and damaged items due to them not having equipment or strong enough movers to move heavy items. We clearly told them about heaven cabinets prior to the move too. They did only half the move then quit saying they don’t work past 5pm, it was only 3:30 pm at that point. They said it was our fault as we did not advise them we had stairs which we did as we could not complete the booking process without this information. Very poor customer service. Wished I had never heard of these cowboys we relocated to the South Island so not much choice. Had moved locally with another company who were wonderful but didn't do moves to South Island. My experience has been awful, not only was the man on the phone rude and obnoxious, our stuff was delayed by 3 days due to the ferry but they refused to provide any form of compensation. The day of delivery one bloke kept dropping boxes and dumped stuff anywhere despite having been directed where to put it the other bloke was hard working and pleasant, but the main guy was not. Not only have we had 3 side tables smashed, but also a desk broken and numerous other bits of damage, one of the tables had made it from Spain to England and then New Zealand never being damaged these people managed to smash into 4 pieces obviously packed in the van poorly. Lack of care and just total lack of customer service wouldn't touch these people with a barge pole. I am sure they will respond about the customer packing items yet we have used another company 3 times in the past same stuff and same person packing and never had 1 single item damaged. Hamilton Movers shifted us to Whangarei on 1st September '22. Their pre-shift visit and communications were very good. Then on shifting day, they arrived on time, were friendly, courteous and very careful with our furniture - eg: fully wrapping the dining table. They worked most efficiently and also communicated well on the day, then left for the trip north, having unpacked half the truck before we arrived! We would highly recommend using Hamilton Movers! 2 guys showed up. I showed one guy through the unit and what needed to go where etc. I went outside as the 2nd guy stated walking up the stairs and I could smell the alcohol coming from his breath...not the best start considering he was the driver I wasn't able to check contents for another 2 months...they've fully scraped my leather lounge suite after I specifically asked them to not carry it past the iron fence they did anyway...they've also smashed a huge pottery vase and a swivel chair that matches the lounge suite I emailed the company as well as called them bit all I got back was well look into it. Not a word was said to us...no apology nothing. I di not recommend this moving company and I've moved alot in my time these guys were the worst we've ever used after 60 moves using movers. They don't deserve the one star I gave them tbph. There's no way yr staff should reek of alcohol then deal with clientsService: In-state moving
Moved from a rural location to Hamilton. Happy with communication and service received. Lucky pot holes had been fixed on highway so no damage.
