Hamilton New Zealand Temple

Beautiful Christmas lights at the Hamilton Temple, including the choir! Amazing time and a wonderful spirit.

My forever all time favorite! nMy family was sealed here Nov 2023. We live in Salt Lake City, Utah. Yes, we skipped all the many temples right in our own city went to New Zealand for this momentous occasion.nWe chose it because my parents were sealed here and my husband is from Auckland. So it was nice to finally take him back home since moving to America.

The place outside and inside was so spicy and span, clean. The steps leading to the main entrance was with beautiful flower beds on the sides. Although we could not enter the church as only members were allowed. The receptionist were so humble and kind. The atmosphere was very quiet and serene. It just gave us a very comfortable and spiritual feeling. There was another building on the opposite side of this church where a huge statue of the Lord Jesus Christ right as soon as you enter. There was clean toilets inside for the public.

Peaceful, calming, and comforting visit. It's a great place to go to get away from the fast-paced feel of the world. Great help from the workers there, very patient. Enjoyable visit as always.

We planned our trip to NZ months ago, including our visit to the Temple. I love the remodeled Celestial Room most of all. Subtle, whitened images of flora throughout NZ are on the walls. Look at the carpet and the design appears Maori. Look at the ceiling and see some very awesome Maori artwork. Obviously no pics to share from the inside, but the spirit is in God's house.
