I have been using Hamills for over 10 years as my first port of call for fly fishing gear when visiting Rotorua. Brad, Peter and the team have always given nothing but genuine first rate service and advice as well as top quality gear. Cannot speak highly enough of this shop and the guys. Thanks lads.

I needed help to clearly identify and value a firearm that I had been asked by a friend who's husband had passed away to sell for her. Took Shotgun into Hamills Rotorua on Monday 4 October 2021. The bloke at the firearms counter assisted me, rang the importers got got me all the information I was after plus. Very pleasant and helpful. Excellent staff. Thank you so much. Bruce Laing.
Friendly staff, heaps of stock, its my favourite fishing store in Rotorua. Talk to tall Paul for fishing advice, but make sure you've got time as it might be a long conversation : a bunch of good peeps selling good gear
Just popped in late this afternoon to get my fishing rod line repaired. First class service from the fishing rod tech chap, alas I didn't catch his name. All done in the brink of an eye Fantastic shop and great banter between the staff. Wonderful range of both fresh and salt water gear plus hunting stuff. I was only after freshwater gear. Thank you so very much. I'll return, my new fishing shop.
