Aroha-Jean was the best server, definitely left with a smile. Great customer service has 3 different workers ask if I was okay and if I needed help with anything. Definitely will shop there again.

This retailer makes stylish clothes and has a very slick marketing campaign using good professional models who are not just dragged off the street. Online this retailer is really good with excellent prices and really nice polite and helpful staff who go the extra mile when there are problems In the bricks and mortar stores, the service is however very variable and sometimes non existent!! The staff in the stores know nothing about the online product and often just leave you waiting even when you want to buy something and are waiting to pay for it!!! Some of the male staff often have a big "I am the man attitude " and don't seem to think providing service is their thing. In the Te Rapa store today there was this strange shop attendant who was just dancing around the store and not helping anyone even when it was obvious. This, I thought ,was really poor form. I would not have liked to have been his employer as it was plain he was doing nothing to earn his wage. Thank god we spotted the retail sign on where to pay or we would have been standing there forever.!!! Best to shop online with these retailers and not in the stores. Today 28/11/21 ../stood at the counter with no sign at it to say it was closed while their staff played around the store while a very overworked looking one attended the till at the back ...I gave up and returned the clothing back to the display stand and walked out ...really bad service in brick and mortar stores so they lost a sale ...Recommend you go to their online store ..prices are cheaper and the service is better. This Te Rapa store is the pits in terms of service sadly.

Disappointed! Clearly they have that market stitched up! No customer service, No help unless I stood with my hand in the air. Now I work in retail and have for 20 years, so IF it was busy then there lack of service could be excused, but on this occasion there were 5 staff on their phones standing behind the counter, faces down and talking amongst them selves. Eventually someone helped which was short lived. : And then to top it off we HAD to spend a lot of money : to get our son dressed for a wedding as there is no where else to shop or I would have The sales person screwed up the dress shirt and put it into the bag on top of the pants which I folded! Just disgusted that the service is failing so bad, is this acceptable today? In any shop? I took a photo of the top screwed up In the bag... Hallensteins Group, sort your employees out! They were all bad and all need a rev up.
Went to Te Awa store yesterday with my Grandson to get a suit for the local ball. Served by Kieran A who couldn’t have helped us more. My Grandson is tall and lean and so we had to try a few pieces before we got the right one but Kieran was very patient with us. It didn’t help we had no idea what we wanted either. Can’t rate Kieran’s service high enough. Thanks Kieran the business should be proud.
Nice clothing and all the staff is fabulous. Really helpful and kind.
