It's a pleasure to have warm welcome and greeting upon check-in from Alex in the cold weather, praise this gentleman for his excellent service and good communication.nnAdequate facilities and amenities and I really do appreciate the accessible shower room as a traveler with disabilities.nnWindow in room and common area provide reasonable scenery view of the mountains, overall staying experience worth the price.nnOnly downside is the building is lack of sound insulation.nnLoud talking from next room or dorm can be heard, nuisance chimps that lack of common senses and emphaty simply slam the doors and stomp on ground all day even at quiet hours.nnEarplugs or even BOSE comfort ultra mark 2 wouldn't help for a good rest if that occurs.
I was really impressed. Guys work there maintain the whole venue like 5 star hotel. Very very clean room / bathroom. The kitchen was super tidy and clean! Well done guys! Check-in was very quick and smooth. Heaters everywhere during the winter season. 100% recommend this hostel!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! The place had such a cosy, welcoming vibe and it was really clean! The communal kitchen / bathrooms were cleaned regularly and the water in the showers was always hot. The manager, Ryan, was so friendly and helpful! Amazing location in Mount Cook Village!
It was my first time at the hostel, and it was perfect—super comfortable, welcoming, and with all the privacy you need. Excellent facilities, very clean. The view of Mount Cook is perfect.
Phenomenal place to stay - very quiet and clean. Strongly recommend it, plus the Sauna is a very nice bonus too.
