A huge thanks to the lovely ladies who squeezed me in for an impromptu appointment whilst I was visiting Nelson on holiday. My hair came out amazing, they had great customer service and the price was very reasonable. Would absolutely recommend!

Friendly vibe, everyone is so lovely and chatty. And everyone is so talented! Felt like I was listened to and got the cut and colour I wanted, but adjusted perfectly to suit my hair type and face shape. Adore this place :-

Went bc the reviews were great, my gut trusted this salon. But I experienced the absolutely worst treatment while getting my hair done. Even though the willingness to fix what they had done to my hair was genuine . I still left the salon very much upset and nothing what I paid for. I don’t recommend, please trust another salon with your hair.

I was on holiday last year and called at Hair in the City looking for a cut and Amber went out of her way to give me a cut in her lunch break! I was very impressed so called and made an appointment this year and again Amber gave me a great cut. Many thanks June

This place is great! I went there for the first time today and was met by Siboan who was really lovely and extremely helpful! Not only did I end up leaving with a big smile and great hair but the experience was awesome and I got a lot of knowledge about my hair and their products used simple words so I could also understand! I am also currently just over 6 months pregnant and that was taken into consideration when it came to comfort : Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
