Gusto Restaurant and Cafe New Plymouth

Had the most beautiful dinner at Gusto last night. Lovely lady greeted us & showed us to table. Very friendly lady was our waitress. Food was outstanding, entree plate scallops, mains, duck plate & other one pork belly which was the best I've ever had. A lovely evening, love sitting looking out at the harbor.Food: 5/5

Amazing meal, and AAAA+++++ Service from the wait staff. Was a little delay between entree and main but there were two large groups. The young lady we had serving us was very friendly and was going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our evening. We will be back for more cocktails and oysters

Good place to go with beautiful sea view. The restaurant was super clean, the staff were friendly. Foods were all delicious especially the lamb shank.

Best coffee to have in this amazing place.. i loved the yummy breakfast .. staff was very friendly and got it served in no time..

This place is beautifully located within Port Taranaki. The service is great and the food is usually pretty good. Unfortunately, during our last visit the food may have sat under the lights for too long - they were really busy. This will not put us off returning.Food: 2/5

Very disappointed with the service and the food and the drinks. First of all none of our drinks came out at the same time. They then give me a premix berry smoothie out of bottle, which was yuk! At our work we make our smoothies fresh everyday then the waiter had the nerve to bring out two glasses of beers we ordered that were two different types of beers and the waiter couldn't even tell us which beer was which. we sent them back to soon realized that not even the person who pour our beers didn't even know which beer was what! We then had to chase down a waiter to tell them we were ready to order our meals. We then waited well over half a hour for our food to be brought to us which was average. I will not be back and I will not be recommending you guys to anyone... I'm disappointed that you think that service accepted..... yes I get that you were busy but that doesn't excuse the poor service and bad food.

Great food will definitely return. Was allowed to select from lunch menu for extra $6. Had seafood symphony absolutely delicious defintely worth extra $$. Gusto has one of the best dessert selections I have seen for a long time could have selected any one of them. However choose Tiramisu. Delicious!Food: 5/5

What a view! Couldn't fault the starter or meal loved everything. Lovely friendly waiting staff.

Some nice food,but the menu needs to expand a little,and the wait time between starters and the main was a bit long.The staff were friendly and helpful, even though it was pretty busy!Food: 4/5
