Story

NZ biggest Gurdwara opened in March 2005. About 20,000 Sikhs attended the opening ceremony where Prime Minsiter Rtd. Helen Clark along with 2 dozen Ministers and MPS. Jathedar Akal Thakhat Joginder Singh Vedanti, S. Simranjit Singh Mann, Baba Daya Singh Sursingh Walay, Youvraj Bhupinder Singh, Swaran Singh Khalsa, Bhai Harjinder Singh Sri Nagar, Bhai Ravinder Singh Hazoori Ragi, Bhai Dharamvir Singh Ludhiana Walay, 30 Kabaddi Players, Mata Gurnam Kaur (mother of Saheed Bhai JINDA), Bhai Sarwan Singh (brother Saheed Bhai Satwant Singh) were also attended the opening ceremony. Stone Laying Ceremony was completed by the Panj Piara's in the presence of NZ Prime Minister.

Every Guruduwara sahib is best and this one is also best. The atmosphere of Guruduwara sahib is peaceful. They provide you free food like every other Guruduwara sahib. Very big parking space. The Bandishod diwas Diwali is beat here and the fireworks is awesome. Especially the community the helped everyone even in COVID-19 they provide free food and grocery to needy families. They allowed everyone to pay obeisance and eat langar food no matter who you are no matter your cast or religion, everyone is welcome.
Adorable ,clean and well disciplined Sikh Temple. Free meal , free fruits for visitors and well connected with Public transport. Half an hour service is available for Manurewa Town
Beautiful Sikh Temple where you can have Guru ka Langar everyday in a most hygienic way at the same time You can have food for soul with Gurbani path and Kirtan.
This place have a great feel. Live the atmosphere. Plus you will never come back hungry from this place . They look after you .
