Groynes Park

Excellent park but a bit overwhelming for a puppy due to park size. Recommend using horseshoe lake dog park for puppy's.

First time there, I loved it, and my wee dog loved it too

Great place lots for dogs to do large open spaced zones

Loads of fence areas for dogs to run wild, access to the river at several spots and plenty to keep them entertained. Poo bins in the 1st 2 fenced areas and water stations. There's also water station further along if ya look. Enough parking during week but abit crowded on wkds.

Such an awesome place for dogs. So many different areas and everyone is always friendly! Awesome play area, equipment for agility training, plenty of rubbish bins, the possibilities are endless with so much space to explore. It's such an asset, and I would travel a long way just to have my doggy have a play and run here!

Best dog park in chch other people there are generally very nice and heaps of open fenced areas to give your dog a good run Also lots of river areas for dog to swim

Absolutely awesome dog park! It takes quite awhile to walk around the whole park, but it is a great walk! There are lots of huge open spaces for your dog to chase balls or sticks, and there is even several tricky obstacle courses scattered around for super adventurous obedient dogs to try and master lol. There's also a river for your dog to go for a swim in. What more could a dog possibly need?! I highly recommend it.

What a great dog park! There a separate areas for what activity you want. An area with BBQs, a popular area by the river for dogs to swim, a walking track and an area where you can run with your dog. There is also an agility course, but we've got Bulldogs so not much of that happening! We'll structured and each area is fenced off. Our dogs had an absolute blast!

This is a great area apart from the low energy people who litter there. They carry their "energy" drinks and alcohol drinks into the park but mysteriously lack the energy to take their empty containers, cigarette butts and chewing gum back out with them
