Grizzly

Welder Location - we are using Grizzly for our wedding desserts. They have offered to create donut flavours for us, and are putting together a tasting box ahead of time. I was so surprised with their amazing level of service considering their reasonable prices! Plus their treats are delicious! So so happy they will be a part of our special day.

Incredibly high quality baked goods and coffee. Excellent, friendly service. The best place in Christchurch to grab a sandwich, coffee & a pastry for lunch, plus some bread to take home, any or every day of the week. Grizzly ticks all of the boxes flavour and quality wise, as well as being a very community minded, caring company who treat their customers and staff with respect. Can’t wait for Easter so I can eat their famous hot cross buns again.

Joined the line which consistently had more people come and ordered the lemon poppyseed breakfast bun. It was delicious and only wished it was heated alongside the others ordered Vegemite scroll, croissant. The plain croissant wasn't as light and crispy as the pain au chocolat but still alright.

One of the best pastries in NZ. In middle of nowhere in Christchurch. Lady behind the counter was supernice and helpful. Bought coffee only delicious filter coffee available but that is all good, and a looot of pastries and bread. Everything was great and very good deals. Miss you guys here in Auckland. Pay them a visit if you in Christchurch

Visiting chch from the west coast, and after reading the rave reviews we had to go and get a Bagel before we travelled home, I bought two bagels and was so disappointed I didn't get three! Visited the welder site, 9am Sunday morning. The service was lovey and the coffee was the best we had all weekend. Never visited before but guarantee we will be back!! Thanks Grizzly!

Grizzly is an absolute icon in Christchurch - highly reccommend visiting either of their stores or the market. The sourdough is fantastic, the service is always great and the coffee is Highly reccommend their Cheeseymite scroll, Chickpea Sandwich and the Superseed Sourdough!

Chances upon this place while exploring the area - easily the best bombolini I’ve had in my life! I tried the vanilla cheesecake one

They say the best things come to those who wait, we’ll if you are popping down on the weekend, do not be put off by the queue - this place is defo worth the wait! Decent price, coffee was good but the filled bagels and pastry were on point! Highly recommend
