A lovely stumble upon in Papamoa. Small, appears to be family run, authentic Mediterranean food. We were a group of three and shared the honey baked Brie as a starter and it was delicious.nCreamed Calamari and chicken souvlaki were the meal choices. All were delicious, only surprise was it’s the first time I have ever been served souvlaki that didn’t come on a stick! Great flavor and presentation and lovely staff.
Outstanding food and lovely staff.nnA 10/10 experience with good quality authentic Mediterranean cuisine.nnThe owner happily whipped up Turkish Eggs with salmon for me despite it not being on the menu and the others I were with had fresh and delicious souvlakis and creamed calamari.nnA beautiful setting and a must-try!
We come here all the time and it never disappoints.nThe gyros are hands-down our favourite — always fresh, flavourful, and absolutely delicious every single visit. The meat is tender, the seasoning is perfect, and the portions are generous without being over the top. You can tell they put real care into what they serve.nnThe staff are consistently friendly, the service is quick, and the whole place has that relaxed Mediterranean vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re craving a proper gyro, this is the place.
Wow, now that is a platter!! Food was incredible - tasty and tender meat with delectable seafood. Every bite was a delight! Service was very friendly and attentive. Would go to this restaurant weekly if I lived in New Zealand!!
My wife and I stayed on Papamoa Beach for three weeks this summer, eating out most every night. Grill & Green quickly became our favorite local restaurant, and we must have enjoyed meals with them 5 or 6 times during our stay. Service was quick and the owner and staff very friendly. The Mediterranean food was consistently delicious, healthy, and very flavorful. Portion size was perfect. Grill and Green also provides gluten free menu items for those who have gluten sensitivities like my wife. Gluten free bread and buns are available, and they use a separate fryer to prepare gluten free dishes. All-in-all, an excellent dining experience.
