Awesome hospitality- because their kitchen wasn't open they let us pick up some fish n'chips and eat it there very grateful

Local, friendly, well priced and clean. The RSC Grey Lynn is a pleasant spot for NZ Music, playing pool, dining in the fare coming out from Jimmy The Fish Cook, chewing the fat with other locals or reading a book from the well stocked library. Thank you for your always wonderful service to our community.

good little spot for local night. games night Tuesday. decent counter meal. good some venue, big screen for big games and fights. often have live bands or entertainment,friendly staff. bar pokies t.a.b indoor and outdoor for a smoke. plenty of room and seating .gets a awesome little atmosphere happening when it's packed. GOOD TIMES HERE.

Pool tables, great food, best of, NZ's musicians, cheap drinks and a character and smoke filled smoking zone. Definitely some of the most interesting characters in NZ, some of the best old school musos in NZ play here, it's a hidden gem if you don't need to be too posh. Oh and the awesome friendly staff deserve more than a mention too.

We had a great night dancing to a great band the Groove Diggers. We found the place to be dated and a bit tired. The drink prices we're Ok and the staff reasonably friendly. What was a disappointment to the night was Ben's Kitchen. We ordered vege nachos and two bowls of fries. Worst nachos that I've ever had. Hardly anything on them, full of black olives, stuff all cheese. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. They we're soft, not nice and crispy. I wouldn't suggest ordering anything from Ben's kitchen.

Great place to watch the game. Cheap beer and good times.

I wonder why this place is registered as a bar and why it is open to reviews from the public as it is a member only club recently. If you go there, you will find door closed and a nasty bouncer attitude to keep it !!! It happened to me yesterday. It seems to be a new thing....Pity for the wonderful bands playing there and not much use for the community. Never again

A great down to earth asset in an area where cool and expensive can get a bit carried away with itself. Very friendly staff, laid back entry, just sign in if not a member. It is more of an over 50s sort of place but nice to see younger people there too.

Went here with a couple of mates hoping for a couple pints and a game of pool whilst exploring Auckland during our posting to base Whenuapai, unlike all other RSAs and RSCs Ive been too we found the patrons here to be very unwelcoming to newcomers especially those of a younger age, we paid for our drinks and for the pool table and suddenly we recieved questions from the other patrons about whether or not we were members, we were accused of "leaning on the snooker table" and told that was "incredibly disrespectful", we were repeatedly asked if we signed in when we arrived and recieved disapproving stares from patrons everytime we asked for them to move so we could take our shots. I understand that were young but at the end of the day we were paying customers and we werent deliberatly bothering anyone, there was no need for the unwelcoming comments and atmosphere. As a current serving member of the RNZAF I in no way will be supporting this club
