Stayed here twice last week on way to and back from Wellington. Very good value, newly carpeted in room, new wash basins, very clean and nice staff, though pillows could be better. Restaurant attached does good food.
Basic and dated but clean and tidy facilities with friendly staff. Especially the off duty guy. Excellent meals, they are massive and tasty for a good price.
Cozy, warm, electric blankets, heater. Super comfortable room and despite what a lot of reviews say it’s super quiet. The only noise we heard was from the road and the trucks stop rolling through around 10pm anyway. Great value! We’ll definitely stay again.

The Gretna really great. Meals over the top excellent meals top marks to the chef and kitchen hands and waitresses. Bar staff very lovely quick service.
Complete theves they r who charges iver $20 for a jug of beer and $14 for 1 bottle of bourbon weve pulled them up about them ripping us off in the pass and they play dumb check your bank accounts people especially when they know your getting tipsy they take more money off u won't be stopping here anymore this was the last straw
