Great community library! Nice selection of books and friendly, helpful staff. There’s a lovely area for children to read and play. A wonderful place for families, especially for kids to develop a love for reading. Parking can be a bit difficult depending on the day and time.
We had a bad experience today. Myself from Christchurch up in Tauranga looking after my 3 gransons aged 7,5 & 3 decided to go to the wind sock making event on at this library. The lady there was so rude and snatched the sign out of my 3year old grandson hand which she should of asked nicely for it back. She then rudely told us we couldn't sit where we were sitting and made us all feel yucky and my gransons wanted to leave so we did. Where was the friendly nice welcoming caring people we were expecting!!!
The staff at Greerton Library were wonderful and extremely helpful with everything I was looking for and needed assistance with. They also made the process of registering my dog with Tauranga City Council easy and straightforward. I really appreciated their friendly and professional service.
A big fan of Greerton library. My brother and his family have recently moved up the road and it's a great place to walk to with the kids aged 3 and 7mths. The staff and other users are always super friendly. Really lovely vibe in the kids section too.
It has excellent space for adults to work with lots of pepper points and table space as well as a meeting room. Children have a good space on opposite side.
