Greenstone Shop is such a great place for those who are looking for gorgeous pounamus created by talented local artists. My Marsden Flower Pekapeka is breathtaking and so beautiful, Dean Taylor carved it with love and I am so happy to have it! Louise is lovely, she sent my Pounamu over to me very quickly, it arrived in Germany within 5 days what is amazing I wear my precious Pekapeka close to my heart and highly recommend this shop. My pounamu needed to be restrung. After looking online the Greenstone shop seemed the most reasonably priced even though I would have to post my pounamu. The service was so fast and efficient and the communication was excellent. My pounamu cord is better than it's ever been. Thank you so much team.

I bought six pounamu from this store. They are all very beautiful, that’s not the issue. The issue is the man at the counter, who gave a very cold and not particularly pleasant or honest reception. I asked to have my necklace restrung because it wouldn’t tighten anymore, and he just made a simple knot and charged me $20 for the cord. It lasted for two weeks, and then I went to Moko Pounamu, where they tied a proper knot around the stone instead of just making a loop, and they offered it as a koha. I find that, as a regular customer, this kind of treatment is quite disrespectful, and charging $20 at the moment of payment when I expected it to be $2 or $3 at most was very disappointing. The gesture reflects the character of the person.
