Greens Motel

We enjoyed our night in a comfortable, well appointed studio room, handily equipped for self-catering. The model is located in a quiet part of town within walking distance of the airport, but not especially close to restaurants etc. Check in was smooth and friendly, and we greatly appreciated the offer of a lift to the airport, saving us some time and effort with our bags. Overall, a great stay and we wished we'd had another night there to enjoy the balcony. New owners are doing it right.

Due to flight cancellation, we found ourselves stranded in Nelson, booked this motel online and showed up 10mins later. The owner was very friendly, upgraded our room, and walked us to it.nIn the morning we were suddenly in a rush to get back to the airport and the owner was more than happy to drop us down.nRoom was comfortable, clean and tidy.

I have never had such an unpleasant stay in a place with cosy rooms, a location with very good airport access, cheerful and helpful cleaning staff, and a great place with a relaxed atmosphere, but because of the cold and harsh remarks of the supposed owner. Just a shame.

I booked a studio and they gave me a two bedroom apartment! So lots of space, lovely and clean and just such a nice cosy, quiet vibe. I had a great night's sleep here!! Great price too! Lovely balcony that gets the afternoon sun. Also had a good hairdryer!
