All nurses and doctors are very kind and caring. The clinic is always clean and tidy. The toilet facilities are also available in a good condition. Really appreciate the help and advice the team provided.
There is paid parking right outside the entrance. It is pricey so I was able to park in Cornwall park and walk back. I went for the eye clinic. They were quite helpful but it did take a while to be seen. My appointment was around 1000 but I didn' finish until around 1300. You did need to do an online screen before heading in and don't loose the sticker or you'd have to do it again.
Awesome Clinical Centre Excellent service, I've never waited such a short time at a hospital. The staff are SO kind, professional & clear. The facilities are top notch. Very clear & inclusive sign posting, fresh cold drinking water, hand sanitiser, a TV with subs and information material available in waiting room of the radiology dept. So grateful that this is a free service. Ka pai team.
When I first went, the doctor and a young nurse were really nice to me! The young nurse told me the result will be back in a week so just call them in a week to follow up. I called, and another nurse picked up. I asked if the specialist will arrange a time with me to go through the results, and roughly when. She said she doesn't know when, they might contact me. And started telling me off "I'm not allowed to tell you the results even if you ask. The doctor has lots of things to do, so she can't just do your thing. You have to wait." The whole process has been 2 months I didnt ask for the result, I asked if the result's back, and roughly when the specialist will contact me. She transferred me to the medical director. He said "So you wanna know the results?" I said "No, I don't wanna know the results. I just want to know if someone will contact me regarding the results, and roughly when." The communication has been horrible, and I don't understand the audacity of the nurse. I don't know if she's overworked and grumpy, or she's just bad at listening and understanding others. But I wouldn't recommend, everyone seemed clueless and disorganized. This might also indicate that we don't have enough doctors and nurses in NZ, so they work under high pressure and stress.
1/ After a big effort to get from a road slip area of South Titirangi to Greenlane for a 10am appointment, we then wait an hour and a half to get seen. One poor lady had been waiting for over two hours, and ended up in tears. Seriously, why bother with appointment times at all? 2/ If you are not going to police the mobility park out the front, and it’s full with many cars not displaying any Mobility card, here is what I did today, and will do in future. Park in one of the temporary spots right outside the door, and put the mobility sign up, you’ll just have to deal . .
Came in at 12:30 with an appointment at 1 o’clock. Wait 30 minutes in a long snake line until we are set in waiting room 8. We wait for THREE hours until being seen. We get a scan and get told to go back to the waiting room. At 4:45 15 minutes before closing see a doctor which does more scans and we are waiting for the doctor now with practically ZERO time until the clinic closes!!!! I would give 0 stars if a could.
What is the point of the carpark arms? They make parking very confusing for the elderly and one of the arms almost came down on my head when walking to the entrance - pathways not ideal so most people walk on the car ways. Seems very dangerous and unnecessary. Now have a stained shirt but could be much worse. Yes there’s a sign there which may reduce risk but the hospital should eliminate this risk surely.
I have had two minor surgeries at Greenlane clinical centre. Both times have been easy and pleasant experiences. Kind and caring staff.
I have attended the eye clinic now for over two years and have found them to be very helpful, friendly and professional. Admittedly when you attend the clinics there is a long wait but they are very thorough in the examinations and always take time to explain any procedures or treatments to you well. I am very grateful we have such a good service available to us in Auckland.
I was just referred here and had to post that it was at a much higher standard than I ever expected. The place is kept clean, staff are very friendly and most importantly nurses, doctors and surgeons are at a very high level. Thank you for being so good
