I visited here with my family and the food is just as good as I remember it from several years ago, the portion sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were more then helpful. The children's portions were perfect and our visit was one to remember. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
Lovely pub, friendly staff and the food is delicious with big portions and the prices are reasonable. We had a bit of an alleged incident with another customer occur last time we were there and the owner was extremely understanding and helpful, she went above and beyond to put our minds at ease. The reason for not giving 5 stars i'd give 4.5 if i could is as follows: When i asked for the coleslaw that had been forgotten the barmaid gave the impression that i was inconveniencing her. I am the kind of person who can misinterpret peoples actions, and haven't seen her mentioned in other reviews so perhaps it's just in my head. Overall the staff are lovely especially the gentleman with short hair. We ordered a starter of haloumi fries, they were absolutely delicious but for £6.25 you get 4 which i felt was a bit small for the price and personally wouldn't order a starter again. The portions on the mains were massive. Would highly recommend, although it's a shame they don't have a nice open fire, that would really make the experience perfect.
Very good food and drink. Atmosphere and staff were great. Vegetarian food choices were a little basic and dated, but the rest of the menunwas top notch!
The food was good! Very nice steak and home made chips, what more can you ask for! The service was very quick and the staff were all friendly. The atmosphere is very much for family's and the outside seating is great!
