The building is tired and dated but don't go there to see shiny paintwork. Go to eat good curry. We chose the platter to start which was delicious. The curries were tasty and one dish was ordered which wasnt on the menu but they knew What it was and made it for us. Well worth stopping and ordering a curry if you are in Putaruru.

Just had a butter chicken meal. A generous amount of chicken, with plenty of flavour. The cheese and garlic naan bread was one of the best I've ever had.

There's two Indian restaurants in Putaruru and they're both good... like serious, really good. This one is nicer to dine in at than the other and I was able to order a salt lassi even though it wasn't on the menu, so order like a local and get the salt lassi.

I was not happy with the service at all. The takeaway box was wrapped in a piece of newspaper. Absolutely pathetic. When asked for a spoon, the owner said we are out of stock and take it from next door covienence store. If I could give a zero rating I would do so.
