Outstanding service. I came in to purchase a new motor valve as I thought the one I got online was the wrong one. The member of the staff who dealt with me was very knowledgeable and honest. I would definitely come back.
Staff seemed as if they didnt want to be there, then tried to over change me for a product 6 pound more then the ticket price. Had to argue with him before he would actually walk over to the stand and check it for him self and still tried to charge me 2 pound more. Long story short I told him to stick it and went to Travis got it 10 pound cheaper and the service was fantastic
All who work at the showrooms in Norman Way are very pleasant and courteous at all times, all go out of their way to be helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them, all are very knowledgeable about all products they sell. Very pleasant experience.
Very friendly, not too intimidating for someone who only partially knows what they're looking for!
Good service and range for trade and competent DIYer, but probably not best suited for average DIYer or 'spending a few hours in a DIY store at the weekend.' You need to know what you're doing and what you want.
Brilliant! My family have been using Ridgeons for over 50 years. We've followed them from their original site near the station to their present one off Coldhams Lane. As self builders/DIYers we've always valued the advise and suggestions offered by the numerous staff we've met and dealt with over the years. The third generation of the family is now using them to supply components for her artisan furniture business.
Horrendous pricing. Some of the items so expensive made my eyes water!! Stick to buying online, maybe not practical for everything but for most items you will save far more than shopping here. This has to be one of the most expensive priced hardware stores i have ever been in.
Very helpful staff. Made custom cuts to replacement floorboards for me. Walked me through options.
Excellent range of products friendly and helpful staff got everything I needed
