It's the amazing staff that make this place sooooooo good. It was recommended to me as I'm not familiar with f&c shops in Tauranga.nnI popped in & found the staff friendly & knowledgeable about what they sold. The shop floor, window & surfaces were really clean - trust me, shop appearance says a lot!nnI placed my order and got told it would take about 15mins for it to be ready. I told them I was going to collect my mum, come back for my order as we were going to eat it at Kulim Park.nnWhilst waiting outside the shop in the car with mum for 15 minutes to be up, one of the staff came out with our order. He checked that I was the name he had, handed over our meal & disappeared inside the shop.nI sooooooo didn't expect to be recognized as they were busy, neither did I expect my order to come to us.nnOne scoop of chips was a generous portion and they were as I'd asked for - well cooked.nThe vegetarian spring roll was amazing & had no vermicelli so that made it extra nutritious, the two battered fish were large and there was an small piece extra & the crabsticks had just the right amount of batter.nnI'm not sure who the best f&c shop is in Tauranga, but I'd be voting for Grange Rd Takeaways
This wasn’t our 1st choice of fish and chip shop but the other was closing up and we had to find an alternative. Well I tell ya what I’m glad it happened that way. The fish, the chip the squid rings everything was absolutely sublime. Quite easily the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Oh did I mention the batter? Wishing I had tried more of the menu, but there’s always next time. We will be going back.
This is a 10/10 fish and chips. Honestly the best tasting I’ve had in years!nThe fish, scallops, quid rings and potato fritters are so tasty and cooked beautifully.nChips and wedges are so delish too, my new fav place. And the service was so lovely too
5 stars team, best burger n hot chips in town! And you get chicken salt option nAwesome friendly staff, clean workplace and also one of the best priced in town, specially for quality. Top marks from a fussy fish n chip eater
The chicken and Camembert burger is delicious! Highly recommend. Also yummy potato fritters. Great value for money, love this place.
