If you visit Ottawa, make sure to come here for a meal. The best interior. The best hall service.. You'll be able to taste the best food.Everything was a perfect lunch
Tried this place few weeks ago. Total 115 + 15% tips They do have some special stuff like stuffed chicken wings and I have to say their pho are really good, when you try the pad see ew you will see the difference of the quantity of the pho if you compared with Thai express. I don’t recommend pla muk yang, even tho I saw that in the social media but the order is tooo small, an usual adult can finish that whole dish with 3 scoops lol. I recommend that chicken wing even is really expensive three with 20 buck before tax but their sauce is a great combination with the wings. Their service is kind of speechless, only one server with around 7 table of cxs and she doesn’t have ability to approve the service that qualified with the food price. When I asked before order she told me the rice is served with curry but for the receipt you can see a 3.5 bucks + tax is the reason I really can’t tell my friends to go there and “enjoy” the food. Main dish is served after 40 mins we finished the appetizer, I kindly ask the server why but the answer I got is you need to wait the line, if you want main dish serve together with your appetizer you need to let us know first! even tho she never asked about that before the order or let us know the approximate wait time. as you can see the price is expensive and food worth you to taste, but for me won’t come again.
Great taste, the right amount of taste on the foods ride their spicy lamb Priced not too high it's definitely in the higher price ranges and also you might want to reserve ahead of timeFood: 5/5
It was my first time trying traditional Thai food, and all I can say is the experience here was great! Friendly service and amazing food, my go-to when ordering Thai
I felt like I was in a spa very cosy and relaxing. Food was good and service was outstanding. Very quick and constant friendly check ups by the owner. Well done
The best Thai food in Ottawa. Period. Second time here. The staff is great, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere spot on. My wife had a seafood peanut sauce dish, I had the crispy duck. Mine was nice and spicy, like I like it. My wife’s was mild, like she likes it. Would recommend anyone to come and taste it. Vegetarian options: Many veggie dishes Parking: Lot of parking in back.
Thai food done really, *really* well. Pad Thai is how I gauge Thai restaurants, and rest assured, those of you who love the dish - this place serves up a beautiful, steaming dish of perfectly cooked noodles, fresh so they don't stick together, with plenty of peanuts crunch, yum just the right amount of gentle spice I bet they could add or lessen the spiciness and aromas of tamarind and lime. My husband enjoyed a dish of Pad Char - distinct and delectable flavours of ginger and basil and fresh, quality variety of veggies. The vibe is comfy and clean. I am confident we will be returning soon for a sizzle dish, which we hear is a real treat. I've also got my eye on a cool papaya salad. Also the stuffed chicken wings !?.
Local recommendations by friends do not disappoint, Sweet Basil was indeed sweet; we had pad thai, veggie spring rolls, crispy beef, Tom kha goong soup and rice; yummy food, spiced just right was screaming quality. Pick-up service was quick and painless; parking was not plentiful but available next door. The only negative thing I can say that it was a bit pricey but a recommended spot for Thai food in Ottawa nevertheless.
Tried this place tonight for the first time! delicious Thai food. Quick service. We did take out and it was ready in 13 minutes! We ordered pad Thai and pad ki mow. Both had excellent spice level & the right taste.
Not sure how 30$ which included paying for the rice was worth a bland curry with 2 bite sized chicken pieces, a few potatoes. Poor value for the money. Heart wasn't in the dish, bad effort. Will not be back.
