Grahamstown was founded in 1868 at the northern end of present Thames, approximately one mile from Shortland. The two towns merged in 1874 after it emerged that the heart of the Goldfield was in Grahamstown.

The food was absolutely mouth watering. Great balance in flavor, potions where a large size and the beer was cold. Looking for a good meal and cold drink. Would definitely recommend.
Friendly staff, great food, great prices only critique is that the pork belly was a tiny bit overcooked but the flavor was amazing. Dessert was beautiful and service was fast would 100% recommend
Enjoyed a couple of cool drinks and nibbles here before heading up the coast for the weekend. Thankyou. Will be back one day soon. Highly recommend.

Our group of 17pax dined here, it was lovely. Nice ambience and the staff were polite and accommodated us upon arrival. It was a busy saturday dinner service as it was packed of locals. I had scotch fillet and it was nice, a bit small for the price I guess. Overall we had a great night. A must visit when your down Thames.
A gem of Thames, with a good range of menu items, and plenty vege options too! Loved the pizzas.
