Outstanding chicken and bacon pie!! Big chunks of chicken and a creamy sauce. Sure, light pastry.nThe coffee is excellent too.nWe have noticed it’s quite cold inside the seating area inside. Maybe a heater is needed?
Honest pie review - Steak and Cheese: 3 /10nHonestly just disappointed. The good - the pastry was at least average, but I’m not a pastry kinda guy. The bad - the meat tasted like plastic, and there wasn’t enough at all to even call it a steak and cheese pie. The gravy, was lumpy and tasted store bought. This should be called a plumpy gravy pie. Did I mention the cheese? No, because there wasn’t any. I will feed the rest to my pig. Thank you, Oli.
Well-priced tasty food, tidy dining area. Toilets were passable but extractor fan was quite loud and toilet needed a bit more TLC in terms of cleanliness. Coffee was a bit strong but OK. Staff member who served me, likely one of the owners, was pleasant but not friendly per se. Overall decor was simplistic and in need of updating. Would visit again. Place feels like it could be more but lacks the enthusiasm and vision to take it up a notch.
This is my local go to bakery! Great selection of freshly made sandwiches, rolls, cakes, pies & hot meals. Vegetarian & vegan options available. Love their omelette & great coffee. Delicious food! Great location, easy to get too & lots of parking. 4.5/5. Highly recommended
