We had a great time spending my brother's birthday here at Good Union. The food is great and delicious plus Rugby championship game was on fire! People were cheering and very proud Black Ferns won!
What happens when the power goes off and a restaurant is filled up? Well if you have a great front of house team and kitchen staff you soldier on Cudos to the entire staff for making it work and produce great beer and food A great night out.. incredible customer service...and a Festive cream to take home to Tasmania
Last night was a nice experience, customer service was lovely, the food was good, we ordered the Crispy Duck, Fish & Chups and the Chook burger. Definitely get in on a Wednesday for their $15 burger specials! Afterwards we ordered dessert which consisted of Baked Cookie which was divine, apple crumble which was scrumptious except the custard which had to be poured using a spoon as it was too thick.
Highly recommend you book early to avoid any disappoint meant. All round a great night Food and Beers excellent. Can't forget the Staff, very good lòks like they enjoy working there . Thanks
Great meal out celebrating a birthday bit of a wait for the food, wasn't told about any specials.. food was delicious, everyone was happy! they popped candles in my son's dessert for his birthday
Had a Buddha bowl, IPA & Peppermint tea for aperitif Children had bento box menu & duck island icecream icecream. Staff member 'quacked' at me, when i said the meals were 'ok' and walked off. Our dinner dishes neatly stacked at edge of table were not collected until after all our desserts had been delivered which cluttered up our small table, despite many servers walking up and down past our table & two separate servers delivering desserts and sundaes. Was not offered any further drinks or water which ran out before dinner was served I felt like I was an inconvenience, I'm not usually one to leave a bad review, however I do not think I will be returning for sometime. Kid-friendliness: We did enjoy the little kid coloring in / activities packs
Our private function at Good Union was incredible. The staff were extremely helpful, and we loved having the private space upstairs all to ourselves. We'll definitely book it again next year!
This place is a great to have a quiet drink after a work day or during the day. The outdoor area also looks cool and would rock in the summer. Definite recommendation for everyone!
Had a nice family meal out. The wait for food wasn't too bad. I think the kids meals should have come out first though. The deckchair hazy IPA was really good. Will be going back for more of the. I had the fish and chips which was alright. The sticky date pudding was really good.
