Professional, on time and skilled! In addition to removing other trees, they did an excellent job of removing a large cedar tree that was over power lines and our roof. Lukas performed acrobatic maneuvers to ensure other plants etc were not damaged. A highly efficient crew assisted. Clean up was amazing, you would never know they were here. We highly recommend Lukas and his crew for any job.
We have used Good as Wood services twice now, and if we could give 10 Stars, we would . They have removed several dead trees, trimmed some, and chipped and taken away debris. They do indeed leave the area looking better than before. All the crew members are great! The scheduling is professional, they actually show up when they say they will ! All in all, nothing but great service , and I cannot recommend them enough !
I am extremely satisfied by Good as Wood services and how quickly Lukas contacted me to come on-site to estimate the project requirements. He was skilled and provided me with a detailed estimate of the work his crew would perform which met my schedule. The crew arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the project completing the job. Honestly, it was beyond my expectations. Their price was also more than fair, so I would happily recommend Good as Wood to others who are considering having a quality arborists work on a similar project on their property around the Gulf Islands!
It's always fun to see the Good As Wood Guys coming down our driveway. They have taken care of all our tree needs whether it be cutting, trimming, chipping or grinding stumps out. We can depend on their knowledge and expertise...and their vast array of equipment that never breaks down mid job. They come prepared and they get the job done quickly and safely. Highly recommend Good As Wood Tree Care.
I was a little taken aback by the amount quoted for the removal of four large danger trees, one of which qualified as a "widowmaker" in arborists parlance. The trees had to be removed before the winter storms, so I went for it. The guys were on site within a few days, and completed the work promptly. It was a complex job due to terrain, proximity of structures and electrical, and entanglement of an arbutus and a fir. The wood was bucked and stacked for ease of removal, and the site was left clear of debris. After seeing what was involved, I figure I got a good deal. Highly recommend goodaswood. Harry Slade .
The crew did a great job chipping the wood and then raking and cleaning up afterwards. They also went above and beyond in getting to a hard-to-reach pile of branches while exercising care with the living vegetation. All at a great price!
Awesome professional service. Took down a very large tree in a precarious place. Did it with ease and excellence. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.
