Two easy riders. No complaints. Faster than what they said it would take. Price was decent and thick skate was awesome! Burgers had a nice flavour and bun to them and nicely seasoned. Wish I read it was two Patties, I prefer one. Was a mean feed and the view is beautiful.
Staff are amazing very welcoming. Food!?!? They are all Well presented but the taste? fish and chips no photo, fish fingers swamp monster and ziggy burgers are mediocre… they are too bland even if you season them with salt and pepper. Fish breading is a joke all i can taste is oil long wait time, maybe because they are the only food place that is open on a Monday. Not a dog friendly place a s well
Kaiteriteri is a beautiful seaside town - a stone’s throw away from the Abel Tasman National Park, Split Apple Rock and amazing golden sandy beaches - but the real hidden gem is the local burger joint, Gone Burgers. The food is delicious and the staff there are absolutely amazing! Let’s start with the food - the burgers are so good that I ended up eating at Gone Burgers twice in the same day! Both burgers were phenomenal. What's even better is that if you're trying to cut down on carbs, you can get it as a low carb burger bowl which is just as tasty. Above all else, what really makes Gone Burgers special is the incredible service. Despite being a small team, Joel, Rada, Cyril, John, and Shia worked tirelessly all day to serve the large number of customers that came in. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meal. Their dedication to their customers is truly commendable. The same team also runs the Waterfront restaurant next door so my wife and I really got to know them all and their names lol during our trip! They truly gave us the best experience. Overall, I highly recommend Gone Burgers for their delicious food and exceptional service.
My husband and I recently visited Kaiteriteri from Auckland and had lunch and dinner at Gone Burgers. The Fish n Chips were absolutely delicious, and the fries were some of the best I've ever had. The fish was really fresh and cooked to perfection. I decided to do a review to make a special point of mentioning the outstanding customer service from Joel, Rada, Cyril, John, and Shia who were all so friendly, welcoming, upbeat, and attentive. They truly go the extra mile to make your holiday extra special. Shia is an amazing asset to the area, shes so passionate about Kaiteriteri and provided great recommendations for local things to do and took a genuine interest in our holiday. The entire team made us feel so welcome. I felt so well looked after that I specifically asked for each of their names to make a special mention in my review. Together they all made the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a great meal and outstanding service, you can't go wrong with Gone Burgers!
The woman who served us tonight was rude and had absolutely no manners. I’m not asking for much, but a hello and a smile isn’t too much to ask. Also, our fish had some fillets that looked like yellow rubber and some weird cottage cheese looking insides. Sadly none of us were keen and won’t be returning.
We had some very good burgers and fries. Price was ok. Service fast and friendly.Food: 5/5
Good fish and chips. There was a wait for it, but worth it in the end. Watch out for seagulls and ducks wanting a bite of your chipsRecommended dishes
Not sure why this place has such a low score? Maybe I got lucky, fish and chips were amazing, great and quick service even though it was busy!Food: 5/5
Was a disappointing experience to say the least. Beef burger was missing multiple ingredients that the menu states it contained. When we asked for them to rectify this they sloppily put them in with some persuading. Unfortunately the experience with the Chicken burger was similarly disappointing it was overcooked and buns were soggy. I understand it's busy but quality control of a limited menu should be night and day for them. One star for long wait, limited menu and subpar product.
A good burger shop by the beach. That’s all you need to know about this place. The place runs on Kaiteriteri time so just grab a seat and relax while you wait for them to call your number. The food is worth the wait so don’t fret. I got greedy and ordered the humpty. It was a mountain of a burger and I was almost too full at the last bite and even more so after the fries. Overall, it’s a good spot to grab food after you get dropped off by the boats on the beach after a day hiking in Abel Tasman National Park.
